I’m looking to rehome my beautiful standard dachshund girl ( chocolate and tan) due to big family circumstance changes where her needs are not met- she needs human companion to be available all the time otherwise she can become destructive by chewing things around her ( normal behaviour for dog who is bored). She can go only to family where someone is home at least 20h a day, who can go for long walks, is financially stable, private house with safe garden ( no flat is suitable due to the multiple stairs- she is very long), with no other dogs or cats ( she is dominant and will try to get control over other dogs- doesn’t applies for walks outside where meeting other dogs- then she can be shy) , no young children ( can go to family with 10+ age kids because she is strong enough to push) and only who have experience with dogs ( preferably hound group) as she is very smart and stubborn, and will quickly learn how to wrap you around her fingers:). She is healthy, crazy about food ( will do anything for it), great recall off the lead, toilet trained. She can’t be bred, so no breeders.
In short: smart, stubborn, very loving, funny dog who needs her companion who will give love and lots of attention, long walks she deserves.
