Description
Here we have Ziggy, We rescued him temporarily January this year but the foster family lined up fell through so we are looking for a home for him where he is the only animal and with people who will give him the time he needs to earn trust.
He is such a gentle and loving cat but we believe he's had a rough past and as a result it does take him a couple months to warm up to you. He's not violent but will growl if picked up to tell you he's not comfortable. But if you let him come to you then he's more than happy to climb on your chest in bed and purr away. He loves to play also. We dont know exactly how old he is but were told in january that he had just turned 2 years old.
He is quite skittish and i dont believe he would be a good fit for young children.
He is neutured we believe.
FREE to a good home, ignore the £10 minimum price on the listing.

So the main things In terms of Ziggy is that he is a trauma cat. Which just means he's had quite a rough life before we rescued him. He needs a lot of reassurance and time to build trust with you. Its taken him 2-3 months for him to come and lay on us in bed. He hates being picked up but does like to sleep on the bed. He doesn't like being bothered if he's not wanting attention and does enjoy his space and alone time. He loves looking out the window but must not be allowed outside as he is a housecat and could get hurt or go missing. He is currently on Whiskas wet food (Gravy not jelly) and Whiskas dry food so would be good if he could stay on this food brand if possible. He is such a lovely cat once he has time to adjust, you just need to be very patient with him whilst he gets used to having new owners and surroundings. If there is any other information you would like to know then just drop me a message.
