Description
Please read carefully and no time wasters. Penny was born in July 2023. I got her from her breeder in September 2023. When I got Penny she had an injured eye (seen in pics). The breeder informed me that it was due to an accident. This caused her eye to be enlarged and pressured. Penny was receiving eye drops to reduce the pressure. Sadly the accident occurred before Penny was insured. The treatment is no longer working and Penny requires an operation. I cannot afford the cost of £1800 and due to my income am not eligible to funding from charities. She continued to have eye drops but the pressure has increased causing her pain. The only alternative is for the eye to be removed. Penny has perfect sight in her left eye which was also tested. The current issues with her right eye does not affect her day to day life. She is an active girl who loves to run, play and is in perfect health. Penny is an amazing living girl. She enjoys two walks per day and playing in the garden. She also enjoys playing with her toys and playing tug of war. Penny has lived with another dog and a 16 year old. She enjoys her food which is Harringtons wet and dry food. Penny loves cuddles and in the evening loves nothing more than to cuddle next to you. Penny is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night. She is also house trained and will take herself out for the loo. She can walk on a lead and is generally good but will become excitable and jump when approached by people. Penny is used to being left 2/3 times per week for up to four hours. She will usually play with her toys and sleep when on her own. Penny is afraid of cats and sudden loud noises. She can sit, is place trained and good with recall provided there are no other people or pets about. She has had her first season and is due to be spayed in July 2024. Penny needs a lot of support at vet appointments. She becomes overly excited and wants to play which leads to her being uncooperative at times. I am looking for someone who will be able to afford the cost of the surgery and provide Penny with the loving home that she needs. I will not allow her to just go to anyone and will need to complete home checks and meet with you first before rehoming her.
