About us
Welcome to Majestic Paws Top Quality Home Breeding. At Majestic Paws, we aim to raise exceptional puppies in a loving and caring environment. Dedicated to following a responsible breeding program, our focus is on keeping our pets healthy and happy until they find their new homes. We hold a Council Breeders Liecence, that means our home and doggy family have been inspected by a vet and a Council Inspector. An Ethical Dog Breeder I decided to look into breeding not long after being made redundant from my family support role, where I had worked at for the previous 30+ years. Instead of feeling sorry for myself I saw this was the perfect opportunity to do something I loved and I'd been dreaming about doing for years. At the time I had a rescue Cocker Spaniel a rescue cross Staffy plus two other dogs, Sugar and Spice both Springer Spaniels. Sadly my Staffy Brindle and Sugar have gone to Rainbow Bridge but we had many lovely years with them. My Rosie, another rescue dog, followed them later that year at the age of 10. I've lived with dogs all my life and every one was special & every one took a piece of my heart with them when they had to leave. The pain never goes away completely, nor does the guilt of "what if" & "if only" & "why didn't I." But there comes a day when you can remember them and smile at the memories, instead of cry, then you know you are healing. I wouldn't give away one minute of the pain of losing them if it meant I would lose one minute of the unconditional love they all gave me. Since starting I have been very pleasantly surprised and grateful for all of the advice and support t I've received from other pet owners, including family & friends. We have to mention North West Breeding Services; Jodie has provided so much support and advice we are so grateful to both her and Steve. The services they offer are second to none and without them we would not be where we are today. Over time we have gone from strength to strength and after an initial learning curve we couldn't be happier with how well things are going. We have decades of experience caring for Dogs, Cats and other small pets of our own, I am now 60 years old and have had the pleasure of having family pets all my life, alongside taking care of family and friends' pets over the years when they're away. Along with all of my experience I am Licensed by our local council. I recently passed a Dog & Cat first aid course at Vets4Pets so that I can confidently manage any injuries or sudden illnesses should they arise and for my own peace of mind. I am completing a diploma in Canine body language and recently an online course on handling deaf dogs. I also plan on furthering my knowledge and understanding of dogs, by attending more pet welfare, handling and behavior courses, so l can continue to offer the best care I possibly can to my dogs and puppies. I am also applying for a DBS check certificate. So, it’s fair to say we are pretty passionate about our dogs (and animals in general). I love and care for all pets that come under my wing. Our family dogs are as much a part of daily life within our home as any human household member. Our dogs are always there for us, day and night, sharing in every activity from breakfast time through a cozy evening spent watching TV. They share both our indoor and many of our local outdoor activities, but that's not all. Our dogs also play a big part in family life even when the family isn't at home. They readily go places with us in our car, everywhere from a romp in the local park to a visit to the seaside. Because they can travel with us, they are a part of our lives in a way that most other companion animals can't. Our dogs participate in many of our usual experiences and outdoor adventures, they are forever associated with many of our most treasured memories. So has you can see we are a family run breeder within our own home. Our dogs are part of the family and kept indoors. We have been breeding one or two litters of puppies for number of years now, I had to have a break to care for my mum but now we are back you can rest assured you will get the benefit of experience and quality breeding. Our standards are among the highest you will find we breed for quality and health, every puppy is vet checked when he/she leaves. We take our responsibilities very seriously and strive to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all our pets. That’s why the happiest days for us are when one of our puppies is taken by a loving and welcoming family. We do advice you to take your puppy for a vet check at your local vets within 48 hours. Giving a puppy a home is a life changing event and we are here to support you throughout that process and provide support for life. We love to hear from our doggy families in years to come.
