Beautiful litter of Saint Bernards on the way 🎉🎉
Mum and dad have fantastic hip and elbow scores. Dad is 0/0 on hips and 0/0 on elbows (rare) Mum is 5/4 hips and 0/0 elbows. The inbreeding coefficient of these puppies is also well below the average of 5.6% which is incredibly important to keep risks of genetic issues such as hip dysplasia to a minimum.
I also specifically try to breed away from excessively long tongues, excessively large jowls, excessive skin on the head and excessively droopy eyes. All of these are a current problem in this breed leading to costly and painful repeated eye operations on these beautiful dogs. My dogs drool minimally for the breed as are tight lipped as possible.
The mother of these puppies is my absolute favourite dog I have ever had the pleasure to own. She has such a wonderful temperament with a great character as can be seen on the videos in this advert.
All pictures and videos are of mum, dad, aunties, uncles and brothers and sisters of these puppies. Dad was a beautiful stud dog who we fell in love with and comes from a line that makes a fantastic age for this breed. He is smooth coat so the puppies will be a mix of smooth and rough coats. Half of the litter is already spoken for.
My dogs are very active and will not be lazy couch potato types if that is what you’re looking for. My dogs aren’t kennelled and live a lovely free life here. I will be in no rush for these puppies as always to leave so only the best homes will be considered.
I have the highest level star rating with the council and all my puppies are raised with puppy culture programme which is incredibly time consuming but means the puppies will be confident well rounded individuals. I am in contact with all my puppy owners and so any potential future homes would be welcome to speak with any of them.
Finally my contract states that if a puppy/adult dog is no longer wanted the puppy/dog must come back to me to provide an umbrella of care for the rest of its life.
