I have had bob for 4 years now and he just doesn’t get enough attention it is breaking my heart he needs an owner who can give him the attention he needs everyday without losing him! Bob is very active and energetic so someone who can keep up with this and make sure when he is having time outside the cage that he cannot escape the room as he is so fast. Chinchillas are fairly high maintenance if you have a busy lifestyle and can’t make sure cage is disinfected and cleaned at least every week ideally twice with litter area changed when needed inbetween cleans(I do this daily if needed). Bob had spent the last 2 and half ish years in his own cage so it would be important that he remains alone with input from new owner. He was separated from his cage mates in the first couple years due to not being able to sort out who was the boss between him and his brother causing bites as bob is so persistent and dominant. Chinchillas cannot be introduced if they are already in their ways as they will fight each other to death. A lot of people don’t know this. Previous chinchilla owners only I would like to keep in touch to see how you get on as I’ve had him for almost 4 years now.
