DescriptionThe girls, Mia and Maya, 7 months old puppies from Ukraine. The town the girls are born in is far from the actual war zone and even missile shellings are rare here. But one way or another, the war touched every single family in the country. A lot of people joined the army, some had to flee the country, the life became much more difficult and very uncertain. Under those circumstances, it’s only natural that hardly anyone is willing to adopt stray puppies any more.
Mia and Maya are friendly and well behaving puppies. They are used to humans and enjoy being handled and played with. They are good with other dogs and have had some experience with cats. They are mixed breed, but judging from their age, size and appearance, they should grow into mid-size dogs (they are about 7-8 kg now and skinny complexion).
Mia and Maya are quiet and submissive, getting better on the lead, very people orientated and super friendly to everyone. If they will be the only pet in the family some training for staying by themselves might be required as they have never been alone before.
Although Mia and Maya are sisters and best friends, it does not mean that they cannot be separated. They can go to their own perfect homes, but wouldn’t it be just lovely if they could stay in touch with each other in the future!
The girls are toilet / puppy pad trained, but a new owner might need to put some effort into basic training and teaching them the rules of the house, just to make sure that they become a perfect new family member quickly and seamlessly.
The puppies are fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered
We are looking for a family or couple, preferably with other pets, possibly with kids 7 years and older (as not been introduced to younger kids before)
They are staying in separate foster homes in Loughton and Theydon Bois, Essex, so we are looking for a home in Essex or the neighbouring counties, preferably within about 1 hour drive from the foster homes.
