This is heartbreaking for us as a family, we've had our beautiful boy sooty for 4 years now and are so very attached. Unfortunately my son after suffering with severe asthma attacks for some time has just been told its actually the pets in our home triggering him - extensive testing shows our cat is the highest trigger for him. After buying air purifiers/conditioners & stopping the pets from going upstairs to no avail, We've been advised by our pediatrician that the best solution overall is to rehome our cat as soon as we can. We got that news 6 months ago but just couldn't bring ourselves to do this.
My sons asthma attacks have worsened and he's been on oxygen more recently so I have no choice but to seek a very loving home for our wonderful cat sooty, someone who loves to grab him for a squeeze and nap beside him, he loves cuddles and especially loves laying beside you of an evening with the telly on whilst holding your arm ❤️ he is a bundle of fluff.
We have a courtyard garden and he loves popping out in the sunshine for some sunny bathing but he's also very much an indoor cat & would be happy either way.
Sootys fave pass time is chasing a laser light in the dark.
