LOCATION: THIRSK
• I am a small sized mixed breed female from Qatar and I am approximately 10 months old.
• I am affectionate, sociable and friendly and I love lots of fuss, attention and cuddles.
• I am friendly with people and other dogs when out walking.
• I enjoy my walks and walk well on my lead and harness with no pulling.
• I would love a home with another young, active doggy friend who can help to build my confidence, to play with and to learn from
• I could maybe live as an only dog in the right circumstances if someone is around a lot of the time but I must be socialised with other dogs on a regular basis. Any time left alone would need to be built up gradually.
• I sleep well at night and my house training is improving all the time but I may need reminding of this in a new home.
• I enjoy playing with toys and I love to play with other dogs.
• I am crate trained and happy to go in as long as it’s used as a positive space. I sleep well downstairs in a crate through the night until the morning.
• I travel well in the car wearing a harness clipped to a seatbelt
• I really enjoy my food but if the resident dog tries to eat my food I may get a bit grumpy.
• I could live with dog savvy children over 7 years old who will also respect my space.
• I have not been cat tested but I may be able to live with a cat after very careful introductions. I currently share a garden with 2 rabbits and I would think it was fun to chase them. However if someone tells me not to I will listen to them.
• As I am only a pup still I need to be shown firm boundaries and would benefit from doggy training classes.
• I am currently in foster with another resident dog in Thirsk and we get on well together.
• I am microchipped, vaccinated and spayed.
• I am 4DX snap tested with negative results, have had my rabies vaccination and have had a blood test for Brucella Canis at the APHA Lab in the UK which was negative.
