Roo is our lovely 1yr old whippet looking for a new home due to absolutely no fault of her own. A family home just isn’t the best home for her, we have 3 young children and we can just tell Roo isn’t happy with this. She would be more suited with a young active couple or even an older family with children age 10+ that understand to give her space when she needs it.
She lives with our cocker spaniel with no issues so would be absolutely fine with other dogs. She loves to cuddle up with them! She also lives with a cat but I wouldn’t recommend rehoming Roo into a cat household as she chases our cat a lot!
She is the most funniest and loving whippet ever, she has such character about her. She’s always fall asleep with her fangs or all teeth showing. She loves to snuggle into you for a nap and if not than one of her teddy toys.
Roo can be very timid when out, she’s always been like this but only when walking without another dog.
She very weary of meeting new people, especially men I’m unsure why but she’s been like this since a puppy. It can take her a while to warm to new people so please bare this in mind if you come to meet her. Once she realises everything is ok she will be the best little whippet friend ever.
This is a very heartbreaking decision that we have had to make but we believe it’s the right thing to do for our Roo as she deserves a home she is completely happy in. I will not be rehoming her to just anyone. Questions will be asked to make sure you are suitable.
Roo is microchipped, wormed and flea treated.
She is crate trained.
