I am delighted to be able to offer Jesse for stud services. He is a well proven beautiful Miniature Poodle, with a lovely super soft, Apricot coat. He is KC registered and an excellent example of his breed. He is a kind and gentle boy - very good with the first timers and the more experienced. Jesse is a great grandson of my first stud Poodle Sacha (Milandia Captain Scarlet) and is just like him in both looks and temperament.
He has been DNA tested clear of the following:
1. Prcd-PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy)
2. Rcd4 PRA/LOPRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy)
3. vWD1 (von Willebrand Disease Type 1
4. NE (Neonatal Encephalopathy)
5. CM2 (Gangliosidosis Variant O) (Sandhoff Disease)
6. (MTC) D Macrothrombocytopenia
7. Hyperuricosuria
8. MH (Malignant Hyperthermia)
9. Osteochrondrodyplasia (OCD)
We did not test for FN as poodles do not carry this mutation, so all poodles will test clear.
Jesse has the sweetest temperament to pass on to his puppies. He is also a very special loving family pet. He is Apricot but has one Red parent and one Apricot and has produced both Red and Apricot puppies.In his last litter there were also Chocolate, so we are still discovering other recessive colours he carries. He is a Miniature (not a Toy) but is a little smaller and lighter in weight than our other stud poodle Teddy, so ideal for those smaller Cocker Spaniels, Cavaliers or other smaller breeds.
I offer two matings with Jesse two days apart. The ideal time is around day 12 but bitches do vary, so please telephone to discuss. Jesse’s fee is due in cash on the first successful mating, when I will provide you with all his paperwork and photograph to pass on to your puppy owners.
I do ask that your bitch is up to date with her vaccinations or titre tested. (This will ensure that maximum protection is passed to her puppies) and also wormed and flea treated.
