Description
Hello, this is Buddy (KC name Dartagnan Minelli) and he is a working cocker spaniel, who was 6 years old in March 2024, with a lovely temperament and he lives in our family home with my family and his Mum, Bramble, who we bred him from. He has been medically tested and is AMS, FN & PRA clear - certificates available. He has produced many litters since I have been using him as a stud from the age of 2, with litters averaging 6 pups with as high as 9. He has never shown any aggression to any of the bitches with whom he has mated, or in fact any other dog or person. He is also very persistent and has never given up on a mating. He has only had one tie which was not successful and we arranged a free second mating on the next season which produced pups. If you provide me with your email address I will send over his Stud Pack which includes his pedigree, Health Certificates along with helpful information if you are a first time breeder. The cost below is for two mating's as recommended by most breeders. He is available for crossbreeds as well as Cocker Spaniels and I would suggest that you visit the Kennel Clubs coefficient if you want a pure breed to check that you are not too closely related: https://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/search/ inbreeding-co-efficient/. I really care about the breed and I am not interested in arranging mating's for dogs whose interbreeding exceeds 18% maximum. If you need help understanding this I am more than happy to chat this through with you over the phone. However I am not interested in a mating over this threshold. I do understand that it’s quite difficult to sometimes find a stud which will give you the breed average for the pups but you will have a better outcome if you can manage this.
