Honeybee is looking for a new adventure!
Honeybee is the most beautiful palomino mare with a personality to match!
She was bought for our 5 year old daughter to learn to ride on but sadly she is just too forward for her. We bought her after being backed professionally and ridden away.
She has been hacked out on the LR, good to stable, rug, for the vet and farrier and will stand all day for a brush. Has been handled by children and she's very patient with them. She can take a little while to catch but soon stands for a carrot - this isn't a problem when she's handled regularly, she comes running! She is good in her tack, sometimes it can take a little bit of patience to get her saddle pad on, she's not a fan of flappy things, but she's fine with her bridle - she has a plain snaffle bit.
Honeybee is happy to live in or out, she grows such a thick coat in winter - she's like a little polar bear! She's been stabled in a large barn with another section A and was no problem sharing with another pony. When she's in her own stable she has excellent stable manners.
She is very sweet, but can take a little while to trust new people but when she does she will give cuddles back! She is a little jumpy with loud noises but has been fine with cars when on the rope. Does occasionally need reminding of her manners but no nastiness, just a typical welshie!
She'll make a perfect child's pony for a confident rider and will definitely go far. She was last ridden throughout November, so price is reflective of this. Price is negotiable.
