Meet Fantastic Flo – A Loving 6-Year-Old Staffie
Miss Flo is a sweet and gentle girl who has lived a sheltered life until recently, sharing a perfect little world with her beloved owner. Since her owner’s passing, Flo has had to adjust to the big, wide world and all it holds.
When she first meets new people, Flo can be a bit shy and reserved, but she quickly warms up, flashing that gorgeous Staffie smile that lights up the room. Once you’ve earned her trust, she thinks of herself as a lapdog and adores cuddles!
Flo would prefer to be the only dog in the home. Due to a lack of socialization, she can feel nervous around other dogs. However, she’s happy to walk calmly nearby and ignore them while enjoying her strolls with you.
Since the outside world is still a bit overwhelming, Flo would benefit from short, gentle walks at first to help her become familiar with the local area and strengthen her bond with her new family. She can be startled by loud noises, so she’ll need reassurance and patience as she builds confidence.
At home, Flo has lovely manners—she’s clean, calm, and comfortable being left for up to 4 hours. She would benefit from continued training to boost her confidence, particularly with lead training since she can pull when feeling anxious.
Flo could live with children aged 10 and older who understand when she needs space and time to feel comfortable.
She is currently untested around cats.
Flo is a wonderful, loyal girl who wants nothing more than to be loved and snuggled up with her favorite person. She’ll make a fantastic companion for someone who can offer her the patience, understanding, and love she deserves.
