I have hatched 12 beautiful coturnix quails, 7 male and 5 female.

All have been reared on Heygates Super Starter crumb feed.
11 are a mixture of lovely blonde Italian with some Amber colouring. The photos start with photos of the females, and the second half are the males.
One of the males is from a previous batch, and he's a beautiful tuxedo tibetian. I'm only just rehoming him as he needed to recover from a neck injury. Another male pecked him on the neck, but it's all healed now. He's such beautiful boy, he deserves a home! Photos to come.
They hatched on 16th November, so they're nearly 5 weeks as I post this advert. They have now come off brooding heat lamps, and are used to indoor temps of 13°c minimum. If going outside, they might need some getting used to colder temps.
Males are crowing, females have not yet started laying.
