This is ronnie, he is around 10 years old. i’ve had him for around 6 years now and he is an amazing snake. i have worked with him over the years to gain his confidence around handling and im proud to say he is wonderful now. He is always hungry and tends to eat a chick once ever 3-4 weeks depending on his shed. He shed fully every 2-3 months due to his size and age and i have never had to aid him in getting stuck shed off. i will be rehoming him with his vivarium and setup which includes (heat lamp, enrichment decor, water bowl, leftover food) unfortunately his light has recently broken so i’m currently looking at buying him a new one. he is a well tempered snake, he does enjoy handling and being taken out every once in awhile however like all of us he can sometimes get a bit grumpy. As mentioned before he is 10 so that’s to be expected 🫣. I have zero worries rehoming him as he settled super with me when i bought him 6 years ago. due to his temperament id suggest him going to a home with some experience in snakes and to somone who understands their behavior. he is never violent or aggressive he is just very food motivated and therefore i don’t want to scare any new timers.
