Description
‘Lulu’ as we’ve called her is a beautiful infant girl of 8months- a loving & joyful baby that will fit into your home with cats, children & other dogs or happy one to one & with couples Lulu was found abandoned sitting in the middle of a road bewildered & lost. I can’t imagine how she felt at just 6months old away from her mum & perhaps other siblings covered in grime & without any ability to survive. It took a Bulgarian man for her luck to potentially change when he stopped and bundled little lulu into his car. He was not in a position to keep her and he called an English chappie he knew. They took her to their home where she was washed & treated for fleas & ticks. She was, I’m told, happy for that brief stay & was ‘no trouble’ and very ‘sweet’ despite not knowing where she was. They bounce back & take a leap of faith - such remarkable animals. Whilst they put her on a chain as you can see in the picture (I imagine to keep her safe until they decided what to do with her), she was responsive, wagging her tail & accepting. Sadly from there they took her to the government pound & though she travelled well the poor baby was I believe immensely stressed. She must have thought she’d found salvation but once more she was on the move & in her mind deserted & rejected again. They must think they’ve done something wrong. These majestic & gentile creatures try so hard to ingratiate themselves often to no avail. The Englishmen said he wasn’t in a position to keep her. Often dogs are taken to the pound- but there is only one person homing them so they aren’t once more put out (government policy) and that person is me. What if I can’t? What happens then? What happens to the ones already there, the ones due out & the ones that can’t come in when dogs with no future are placed in a shelter with no homing prospects? I rely on compassionate souls searching for a beautiful, loving, social, joyful & gentle companion- is that you? Lulu doesn’t have a bad bone in her body and is ready to join your family. She’s an easy lightweight kind of dog - an instant companion- & it’s for that reason that we’re often recommended by other U.K. organisations and p4h members. Lulu has through the uncertainty & initial loneliness of her short months on earth bounced back so quickly to embrace ‘life’. She has no idea that things can change again for the worse so please choose her & make her spirited resolve & stunning nature mean something.
