I am currently looking to sell my 2 Male fancy mice they are around 11 weeks old.
Fancy mice live for about 2-3yrs.
sold separately as males CAN NOT be housed together once sexually mature due to them being territorial.
Males do tend to bond easily with their owners a lot quicker than females. Perfect for a first time pet as they are continually active throughout the day and night, entertaining to watch and love to be handled once used to their owner. As for females they need to live in larger groups and tend to prefer socialising among themselves rather than their owner. Males can be neutered ((depending on vets specifically)) and housed with a group of females but are quite happy to live alone with lots of interaction,enrichment,clutter and handling.
Cage requirements minimum:
No smaller than; H31 x W71 x D46cm ((for 1 mouse))
Keep bars to a minimum at less then 5mm spacing ((as mice can squeeze through these))
Avoid sawdust where possible ((as mice can SOMETIMES get breathing problems from dusty bedding))
*Instead Use aspen bedding or paper pulp bedding easily found in your local Pets at Home*
1 x good size wheel ((as small running wheels can cause spine curvature after long periods of use))
A few hides/houses with shredded paper bedding inside ((for sleeping))
1 x Water bottle/or small dipping sauce bowl ((for drinking))
1 x Small food dish
A few wood chew toys/toilet rolls ((for enrichment))
You can also get them a sand bath! instead of filling it with sand fill it with coco coir soil! For digging enrichment. ((Not essential but can be a nice extra)) especially with an added dried foraging vegetable mix on top ♡
Hammocks/swings/hanging toys ((are also a great option for mice as they love climbing))
Food enrichment/treats like food puzzles or foraging matts. ((Where you can hide treats as a little boredom breaker))
1 x ceramic dish/cup ((Not essential)) but come the summer weather if its really warm it's a good option to help your mouse cool down.

Pictures of cages are required before any handovers to make sure they will be safe and happy in their new homes ♡ ((I have photos of an adequate cage which can be purchased from your local Pets at Home))
