Hi, this is Ivy, she is 1 years old. She is a gorgeous girl but has a couple of problems therefore needs to find the right home!
She resource guards high value items, such as things she might find laying around, pens etc We have worked hard with swapping with treats and this works but is something that needs to continue. If you try to take the item away she will growl and snap.
I have a young family and after a relationship breakdown I do not have the time to fully engage in the training she needs! We have followed guidance from a dog trainer so this may also need to be sought.
Ivy needs an adult only home where the time for training is always available as she will become a great dog! She is always told how sweet she is! She loves people and dogs and wants to play with everyone! She has lived with cats but does like to chase them so probably not advised!
She needs someone who can provide the guidance and training for her development.
She is likely to be a bite risk in the wrong hands so please be aware of this (due to resource guarding)
