Description

This is a gut wrenching advert for me to post. I have my beautiful basset called Darcy looking for a new home & best friend. We got Darcy on the 2nd October 2021 adding her to our pack of 3 dogs making our total to 4. We have loved having her! Unfortunately our life has changed massively and I don’t think any of our dogs are happy anymore. We were blessed with our son in 2023 and since this darcey have just come very very very unsettled and very (moody) if you like! She is no longer the centre of attention and she craves it by the bucket loads! She has also decided to bully my 2 older dogs one being a chihuahua 13 years old & a staffy 12 years old! They have become very unhappy all round! Darcey has been around cats and chases them but doesn’t hurt them! I think darcey just simply can’t cope with how busy our household is and is becoming very stressed! Darcey has been spayed and is great when walked in a harness she is friendly with everyone although does bark in excitement. Darcy also has a few nick names (basset, moody basset & ninga basset). Darcy is up to date with her flea worming and vaccinations. What she needs in a home: A large lap to sleep on. Someone who is home most of the time as she doesn’t cope well being on her own as she barks but does settle after a while. Darcey is friendly with other dogs but I just think my home is to busy and overwhelming and they have no space to themselves. If you are interested or have any questions please call me I’m more than happy to have a chat.
