Description

🐾 REX – UK Surrender SUPER LARGE Still PUPPY! 🐾 REX is the 11-12-month-old Caucasian Shepherd, a truly extra-large puppy (55 kg, expected to reach up to 70–75 kg when fully grown). Known for their strength, loyalty, and affectionate nature when nurtured correctly, this magnificent breed is as unique as it is striking. Rex came to us after his family faced the difficult decision to rehome him due to a child’s allergy. Now, this sweet and stunning boy has settled wonderfully with his foster family, and after careful assessment, we are ready to help him find the perfect forever home. Located :Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire HP4 What His Foster Family Says About Rex: “We fostered Rex from his previous owner, a military man who brought Rex to the UK as a small puppy. Rex came from a family in the Russian region that has been breeding Caucasian Shepherds since the 1700s. He was raised as a beloved family pet and is well-socialised, especially with children and men. Rex is not only incredibly handsome but also has a temperament that reflects his loving upbringing. At 11 months old, Rex is already very large and still growing! He is tall and slim for his breed, in great health, and enjoys a balanced diet of quality kibble, fresh meat, oily fish, and vegetables. Like most puppies, he is playful and energetic, loves his daily walks and a good run, and enjoys being brushed and fussed over. Rex is fully house-trained and settles down beautifully at night, sleeping through without disturbance. He is also great with our other large-breed dogs and keen to make friends, although his youthful exuberance and size can sometimes be overwhelming. We believe he could thrive as a sole dog or with a calm, friendly female dogs pack, provided he has time to adjust. This boy is a typical Caucasian Shepherd in strength and personality, and we recommend he be placed with an experienced owner who can handle a strong, powerful breed. He is loyal, loving, and eager to please his people, making him a dream companion for the right family. With his massive heart and gentle nature, Rex will make a devoted friend for someone who can meet his needs and give him the space, time, and love he deserves.” Highlights SIZE: Extra-large (51 kg; may grow to 70–75 kg) SPAYED/NEUTERED: Not neutered (For extra-large breeds vets recommend to neuter at 16-18 months as earliest. Rescue will cover fee in assigned clinic) CHARACTER HIGHLIGHTS: Loving, intelligent, playful, loyal DOGS: Will better suit as the only dog or with large friendly and confident female CATS: Untested CHILDREN: Good with older children; especially responds well to men Ideal Home for Rex Rex needs a home with plenty of space and an experienced owner who understands the requirements of a powerful, extra-large breed. A strong individual or family with time for walks, training, and companionship would suit him perfectly. He would thrive either as the only dog or with calm, friendly female canine companion who can handle his playful side.
