Little Bella, all 10kg her, smiles, greets you &
does that little dance of anticipation at the love she hopes to receive. She adores your presence & responds instantly to your voice & kindness. Her Queen Anne legs are so cute canting along as she negotiates the opportunities & possibilities that human contact can bring. However the hope she perceives is miscalculated as she’s a dog at risk & tragically unaware of her pending fate. This is compounded when you consider that her trials prior to ending up in a pound have made the cold outdoor shelter appear nicer & softer than her previous ‘abode’. The little jolly baby that you see now was left chained up with no food or water when her ‘owners’ deserted her. She escaped to look for a means of survival - weak and lonely she hunted for food. Can you imagine her desperation to get away from her tether & fend for herself in a country where there are few that care & so many dangers. Bella would have been so vulnerable. Her reward for bouncing back should be you- a home-
