We are so sad to be in this position. We have had these two beautiful Daschunds since they were 8 weeks old. They are both perfect, loving and completely beautiful. The dapple white one is called Jessie and the Black and Tan one is called Bonnie. We have an older brown Sausage called slinky so we kept with the Toy Story theme when naming them. Jessie has ‘star’ shaped pupils and we are always being stopped by others when walking them to see Jessie especially. The photos do not do them justice. It’s hard to phonograph them as they are bouncy puppies 🤣🙈
I have recently been diagnosed with epilepsy and am being hospitalised multiple times a month. I am having daily seizures and am bed bound and injured a lot of the time. Due to this, it is being impossible to give them the love and attention they need and deserve.
We have 6 children, 5 dogs including these 2 beautiful pups and 2 cats. They have been well socialised and are so loving. They are complete lapdogs.
They have recently had their first season and were quite aggressive towards each other during that period. Never before and after- just during. We would love nothing more for them to be rehomed together if you are happy to deal with that or have them neutered as soon as possible. If not we will allow them to go to the right home separately. They are still in the puppy stages of chewing things they can get ahold of and are still having accidents in the house on occasion but they are getting there with going outside. This again, is mainly due to me not having the energy recently to dedicate to training them fully. They are crate trained and have been in a crate overnight since birth.
We will be picky with who they go to as we want to ensure they are with the most loving and caring home possible. Please research this breed before offering to rehome them as they do have traits that you need to be prepared for.
We, and our children are so devastated it has come to this but we want to put the welfare of the puppies first and keeping them would be entirely selfish on our part.
This has not been an easy decision for us so your kindness would be hugely appreciated.
We will be asking for £700 if sold separately or £1,200 if sold together to ensure the best possible home with honest intentions. We paid £1000 each.
