Description
SKYE – Collie x Husky Breed - looking for her furever family.
This stunning girl is in foster in the UK in the GL19 postcode.
Since Skye originally arrived, she went into adoption with a family with another dog, and sadly Skye was just too boisterous for the resident dog, luckily we found her a foster with experience who has a Doggie daycare/home boarding business also, which she’s in current foster with. This was looking to be a great opportunity for Skye to understand her more.
Approx D.O.B: 15/04/2023 F(s) medium size.
What her foster mummy says: - She is a very intelligent girl, very agile and would be great at agility, potential cani-cross, running partner or fly ball. She could be an only dog, or live in a multi-dog household.
When she arrived at the Foster’s home she was full of beans, super excited with the 1.5 acres of ground she currently lives on with 8 other dogs there, which rotate daily or every few days. She was bursting with excitement and was running and playing with all her new friends, for a good few hours. She was left to burn out the energy, which happened 😊 and Skye then came into the home and decided after 5hours of play it was definitely time for a long required rest. She was then super calm and settled down, and was super good through the night with no issues. She definitely loves water, whether it's raining or flood in the garden, that won't stop her. She does live in a bungalow so sleeps on the same floor as the family. The next day Skye was definitely calmer and has remained like this since her arrival over a week ago. She’s definitely a dog that could and would benefit from being in doggie daycare, as she gets on great with all the dogs she’s met, and loves the company of others. But also enjoys the time with her hoomans, being in a cuddle on the sofa, tummy rubs (she loves them), she loves ball throwing and brings this back to you, ready to go again, she walks well on the lead, is almost housetrained and already knows some commands, and her learning through treats will continue.
Skye is not only stunning to look at, she has the most beautiful sky blue eyes to look at especially when the light hits them, she is also a fun loving pup, that needs a few boundaries set, but learning them quickly. Her progression has been huge since being with her foster mummy. She's learnt to enjoy the towel drying when coming into the home (since the weather has turned rather wet and muddy).

She will need a secure garden with lawn, to play in and at least a 5ft fence, as she can jump! A rural/semi-rural home would be perfect.
If she is your perfect dog, please apply tonight, if not can we ask you to share, for this totally gorgeous girl Just look at those eyes and ears
