Like so many of our dogs, Capi got a little older and his hunter no longer wanted him to hunt so wanted rid. He’s a very sociable dog and is great with other dogs at the shelter, although he prefers not to share his food (who can blame him!). He’s an incredibly sweet dog who gets very attached to people, always seeking their approval and affection and would love to be by your side constantly.
Capi has been waiting at the shelter a long time for a home. He’s such a sweet and steady boy. He’s very handsome in person and has an air of royalty about him. He’s a calm boy and on walks from the shelter, he isn’t phased by traffic or passing people, dogs or even bikes and scooters. Like most setters, he loves a big fuss and will roll onto his side for more. Even though he’s coming up to 9, like most working setters, he is still very active and can keep up with the younger dogs but also has some calmer moments. He doesn’t pull excessively on his lead at the moment but could do with more training in a home
