Description
Benny is a fun loving boy filled with energy. He is good with children and lives with a 5 and 4 year old. He knows basic commands like sit, paw, down. Benny loves other dogs and loves going for long walks in the countryside. He also loves playing with water, jumping to pop bubbles, chasing sticks and balls and soft teddy's to throw around. He doesn't mind a bath but doesn't like his nails being trimmed so I've had the groomer do it as he won't stay still for me to get near them! Benny doesn't like being left and can be very vocal when left. This is part of the reason for needing to rehome him, we live in a mid terraced house and are getting complaints from the neighbour. The other reason is both my children have learning difficulties and autism. My eldest has taken to hitting and pinching the dog when the dog is trying to relax. While I can stop this and control it in the evenings I'm very worried about the summer holidays and also that it's an accident waiting to happen. Unfortunately my son doesnt have the understanding to stop or that it's causing the dog to be distressed. For these reasons we have to rehome benny so he can have a home where he can relax and be happy. Benny isn't currently neutered as he the vet recommended we wait to see if the testosterone boost would help with his anxiety. I will happily cover the cost of this as I was going to get it done when he turned 1. He is fully vaccinated, microchiped and his flea and wormer are up to date.
