Bailey is a purebred Carpathian Shepherd. The closest breed on the website is “Bernese Mountain Dog”.
Bailey is fully toilet trained, lovely calm and playful dog. He has a sweet and shy temperament. He has a loud, deep bark but does not bite/ completely not aggressive. He is a happy, bouncy, and playful pup, despite his large size, but not as high energy as a lab or retriever etc. He takes long naps during the day.
Bailey was bred in the mountains of Romanian by a professional breeder. His lineage chart is available and contains several “best in class” awards for his parents, grandparents, and great grandparents.
Bailey is 1 years old, intact male, could be used as a stud dog.
Bailey is an outdoor dog and lives primarily outside. (Warm building must be available for sleep /cover from inclement weather).
Bailey is up for adoption because we are being relocated overseas. I **** him anywhere in the U.K. and am keen to make sure he is adopted by an appropriate owner.
The ideal owner should live on a farm or have acreage and Bailey must have free access to fields to run. He gets on well with other dogs. He is not an alpha and therefore would fit into an existing team of working shepherd dogs.
He is loyal and protective of his pack, and you as his owner would be his main focus. He protects with the length of his body and will patrol your property perimeter at night. He is more active at night as designed by his breed to protect livestock from bears and wolves. Of course in England we don’t have these but he chases away all foxes, badgers, and squirrels or any human who is not part of his family pack.
I am heartbroken to give up Bailey and I must know that any adoptive parents would be kind and experienced dog owners. Prospective owners will be interviewed and I will consider the adoption price to be payment for ****y of Bailey.
Bailey is microchipped, fully vaccinated, vet checked and has a passport.
