Our very own Vicat Anthony Bridgerton is looking for his forever home!
Anthony is a relaxed and sweet little boy once you get through his seemingly regal exterior. He loves to play with his siblings while chasing feather toys, and he’s a great fan of daily banquets!
Anthony can occasionally be standoffish, but don’t let this fool you. The moment you start petting him he melts into the soppiest kitten in the world. He loves nothing more than to be loved, and will climb up next to you to cuddle in once you’ve earned his favour.
You may notice Anthony has a rather distinctive set of markings for a black cat. He actually has a little strip of white hair on his head! We like to call it his ‘crown’, he certainly thinks he deserves one.
Anthony is looking for a home that has a friendly resident cat, or he can be homed with one (or more) of his siblings. He can be rehomed with pet savvy children. Anthony has not been dog tested, but we are happy to arrange this.
History
Anthony and his siblings were born in a back alley in Litherland after their mum Violet was dumped. They survived on the streets until they were 7 weeks old, then one of them became stuck in a back garden and couldn’t get out! We managed to release them so they could rejoin their family, but we didn’t have any space at the time to bring them in.
After 2 weeks we were able to make space and go and trap this family in need. The kittens were all feral on intake, so it took a few days to get them used to humans and settle. Now they have been through intense socialisation and love life indoors!
When moving to a new home, we expect them to be more shy and nervous than kittens born in our care. Potential adopters will need to be ready to comfort and reassure them, but should remember this is a phase that will quickly pass.

Anthony has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He has tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been treated for parasites. He comes with 5 weeks free insurance!
