Description

Peanut was absolutely adored by his owner and has been very well cared for. He is a confident lad and loves a cuddle. He becomes very relaxed whilst sitting with you, usually until he falls asleep! His current favourite activity is biting his log roll toy. He has a very high pitched wheek when he hears the fridge open! He is fairly fussy with his veggies but otherwise is a hungry little chap who loves his snacks. We collected Peanut when he became ill and his heartbroken owner was struggling to afford the veterinary care he needed. We took Peanut to see the vet the evening of his collected and he had an upper respiratory tract infection. He has finished his course of antibiotics and anti-inflammatories and his breathing is all better! Peanut has not lived with another pig whilst with us. He was trial bonded with another piggy by a potential adopter, but unfortunately it turns out Peanut is very dominant and the bonding was unsuccessful. Therefore, we are looking to find a home for him where he can be a neighbor piggy, with a friend he can see, sniff and hear. A very experienced bonder may wish to try bonding him. If the right home isn't found, he will be neutered but we aim to avoid surgery for him if possible! Please Google 'Merrypigs' for our adoption criteria!
