We’ve had to make the sad decision to look for a more suitable home for Babi, my sister who has had Babi for 6 years is suffering from chronic depression and anxiety and is unable to care for Babi as well as she needs. The environment is also not healthy for her as my dad smokes cigarettes indoors as of more recently which won’t be doing her any good. Babi came from a rescue and before we had her, had never lived indoors. She can be quite shy but once she knows you she settles very well. We don’t feel young children will be suited for this reason. We would really love to find someone who can enrich her life and offer her patience and a calm loving home. Maybe a family who is retired with plenty of time and outdoor space for her to enjoy. Babi goes for a groom every 2 months and is up to date with flea and worming, she is very loyal and we trust her off the lead not to run off but she doesn’t have strong recall. She is good with other dogs, we’ve never had any issues but she can be shy so would require visits. Babi is 10 and still very much loves to go for walks, she loves being in water and has the sweetest nature. We believe she’s a cross between a collie and a pyrenees mountain dog with her characteristics. Babi is currently over weight at 29kg and we’ve been advised she should be 25. She has recently had blood tests and a dental check at the dentist, they have advised her weight needs to come down before they’re happy to clean her teeth. We are happy to discuss vet records and be as transparent as possible about the current situation. We just want a better life for Babi and we know they’ll be someone out there who will adore her sweet kind soul like we do. We don’t want any money for Babi, we’ll just be happy to find the right match for her to be re homed. Please contact me for more info
