Meet DEXTER. He is an adorable, tiny ca. 9hh, good natured, tame 2 1/2 year old MINI-SHETLAND x WELSH colt with a nice mane/tail & real soft coat that autistic kids/teens usually love.
Can show photo of his handsome dad.
Initially saved his dad later Dexter both had been neglected.
Likely to make a lovely future:- THERAPY PONY PROJECT,
maybe LEAD REIN PROJECT.
Ideal FAMILY PET,
COMPANION,
MASCOT &/or
TRAVEL BUDDY.
Also for PETTING ZOO,
MOBILE ZOO or
PARTY PONY BUSINESS.
Been through isolation period/checks. NOT seen any signs of sickness.
Needs more muscles due to neglect but lovely natured & coming on well.
Microchipped & Passported.
Wormed & had feet trimmed.
Unhandled when he came, but calm. was never bad & is learning quickly.
So good natured.
Just want to love and be loved.
Kind taming & training is ongoing.
Not had treats/not been hand fed.
Scratches & kind words does the job. Hence easier/safer than most.
Still early days but getting good to be caught, walked around & tied up.
Also washed, brushed & rugged up.
Fine to have all four feet picked.
Likely easy to load/travel as chilled.
Usually trusts the person who leads.
Curious about kids.
Likes it when they come to visit.
Been good for vet & farrier.
Not gelded but not been coltish.
Both balls dropped so can be done.
Gelding is not included in the fee.
Once gelded fee will go up accordingly.
BHS charity might have cheap clinics.
Gets on well with other colts/ponies.
Re-homing fee is a fixed £450 as seen.
No hackling, LWTVTB or trials.
