Description
Elsa is a 1 year old, medium sized girl. She is looking for a home with another doggy (or a few) as she really benefits from the comfort of a canine companion. Her person/people will have experience of caring for dogs, and we'd prefer them to have some rescue dog experience. Elsa could live with older, caring dog-savvy children/teenagers
When Elsa first went into a foster home a few months ago, she was very timid and scared of the world. However, she has come a long way since then and is now an adorable, beautifully sassy girl. It might take her a while to adapt to a new environment and to learn to trust her new family, but once she does she will adore you! Elsa gives the best cuddles and the feeling of love she gives are priceless.
Elsa is now toilet trained, and be can be left at home provided she has a canine companion.
At present, she is still finding dog walks a little bit scary - the big wide world is unpredictable. She will need continued support and reassurance while out and about. Her confidence really has grown in just a few months, though, and we have every confidence this will continue. However, she will really need supportive, understanding guardians... but you'll be repaid ten fold with the love of such a beautiful girl.
This gorgeous young lady takes treats well, and loves to play with toys, whether that be by herself or with other doggies. She really is the most delightful girl, who deserves her happy ever after now. Despite her fears, she has never shown an ounce of aggression. She really is the sweetest girl who just needs a chance.
We would accept applications for a 'foster with the view to adopt' scenario. We want to get it right for Elsa, and we want her new humans to feel supported.
She has been successfully introduced to cats during her time in foster in Romania, and so could potentially live with a cat (but we can't guarantee it).
