Please meet Twig! 🐶
Twig’s life began to change when she was rescued by a vet from her life on the streets. She has lived there for most of her life now, but sadly with a change in circumstances, Twig became a yard dog longing for more. Our rescuer, Alina, agreed to take Twig in and promote her for the home environment she deserves.
Beautiful Twig is approximately 2 years old and weighs a small 11kg. She is good with other dogs, and would be happy as a solo dog or with a canine companion in her new home. Twig is currently living indoors with cats, who she gets on very well with. Her previous home saw her interacting with the families children in the yard, but she has not had to share an indoors space with them yet.
Since her move to the shelter, Twig has adapted well to home comforts! She is very clean within the home, having no accidents indoors (although expect some for a little bit after her huge move to an adopter!). This sweet girl really would make the perfect family dog, she likes getting attention but isn’t overly playful. Twig walks well on a lead, showing all the signs that she has experienced a lot of things before. She does have fur that will need regular grooming to stay tidy and not matted, she can get a bit scruffy without!
