DescriptionKALI - is in foster in the Newcastle area and waiting for her furever home. A stunning 7 month old shepherd cross.
This is what her fosterer says about her:-
Kali is a very sweet girl and is such a good all rounder. She has so much potential and is incredibly smart, she currently knows sit, down, paw and has started with stay, touch (nose to hand) and 'front' which is her putting her front feet onto a different surface. Kali loves her walks, she is dog friendly and very submissive with every dog she meets resulting in her flopping on the floor and onto her back most greetings. She currently lives with a pack of dogs big and small with no problems, she is respectful, reads subtle cues well and doesn't look for trouble. Kali does love to play with another doggy friend too so would thrive if she were homed with another dog although not essential for the right home. Kali is very well house trained for such a young pup and has had only one accident (my fault) in the 2.5 weeks of having her. She sleeps through the night well in a crate by the bed, she has started day time crating but this is needing time and patience to build up and so far she is happy for about an hour after a good walk. Kali needs an active home with someone willing to continue her training, she would benefit from some obedience training or agility, etc to really get the best from this girl although this is not absolutely necessary. She needs some patience to learn to be ok being on her own. Kali is a calm girl and learns quickly, she will make someone a fantastic companion! She is also living with young children and can be homed to families with children 5 years and over.
