Winnie is a 4 year old, terrier type dog, who is small in size and desperately needs to be out of the kennels. She needs a strictly adult only home, and no other dogs/pets.
Poor Winnie had a bad experience with children from a young age, and is now terrified of them. In all, she is a vulnerable little doggy who needs a home where she feels safe. The kennels are quite a scary place for her, and we really need to find her a home. This could even be as a foster or as a foster with a view to adopt.
Winnie needs a quieter home, with few visitors (certainly in the first instance while she decompresses from the recent transitions in her life). She can be worried about people and other dogs, and so this needs to be taken into account by her new people.
She really is a very sweet little girl, but she is scared and needs people to nurture her and love her in a gentle and patient way. Winnie is on medication to help her nerves.
