Description

It's with an extremely heavy heart that we are looking to rehome our family dog Willow due to a change in living arrangements. Willow is almost 3 years old, she is extremely loving, playful and has a fantastic personality. Willow has been part of our family since 8 weeks old, and is great around my 10 year old. Willow needs patience and attention, she is protective of the house which leads to her barking at things like people knocking the door and loud noises outside, but she doesnt do it outside the house. It's something that she needs time and training to help with. Willow loves toys, she does destroy cheap fabric ones but that's part of the fun, balls are her favourite and she's got great recall so we take her everyday to the fields and throw her favourite balls. Willow doesn't like being in a crate, but has been in pens before, and doesn't like being left for long periods of time. As she got older, and out of the destroying puppy stage, we started to let her have free roam of the house and night and when alone during the day which she prefers. Willow is energetic and needs excerising daily, if she doesnt get exercise she will bark more. She sleeps on a blanket in my room at night as she likes the security knowing someone is there. Willow is also great with other dogs, she hasn't ever lived with another dog so may need time to get used to that, but she is around other dogs a lot and it's never caused any problems. Health wise, Willow hasn't ever had any concerns. She is overdue her vaccinations which I'd expect her new family to arrange, but is microchipped and fully up to date on flea and worming. Her grooming needs to be done every 8-12 weeks, brushed daily, but has only just had a full groom. I'm only looking for the best home for her, it's an extremely hard decision we've had no choice but to make do only want her to go to a forever home.
