Kipper is years old, is neutered, flea and worm treated, microchipped and vaccinated.
He was very much loved but, unfortunately, due to some sad personal circumstances, his current adopter had to him back into rescue.
Kipper is a happy little chappy and a real character.
He likes to play with you with tugging toys or curl up on your lap and give you lots the kisses. He is happiest chasing a ball - he absolutely LOVES a ball. Also, squeaky toys are a firm favourite! He knows a few little tricks like sit, down, paw, wait and cross (to cross road) and is food or toy motivated to learn. He eats anything, sweet or savoury and wolfs it down! Like all Rommies he loves laying in the sunny spots too.
He loves his walks: is a little excited at first, but he soon settles down and walks beautifully.
He needs an adopter who can dedicate time to further his socialisation skills and walking training as he can be a little nervous when meeting new dogs head on and can bark at. When he knows a dog though, he will walk lovely side by side with them.
With an experienced adopter who could give him a calm home with a garden big enough for ball chasing and a place to sunbathe in the nice weather, he would be at his happiest.
Definitely no very young children as he really doesn't cope with kids running around or noise - older children would be OK. He could live with another calm dog who will give him space after careful introductions. He can resource guard over longer lasting chew treats but not so much with meals. Definitely no cats or small furries.

APPLYING
Minimum age for adopters is 25
• A successful home check is required
• The adoption donation for Kipper is £450
We do not rehome our dogs in flats/apartments unless ground floor with own private garden
• No cats or small furries
We recommend a child free or older children only home for Kipper
¿ A fully secure garden with at least 5' fences/ boundaries is required
• If working, no more than 4 hours absence at any one time.
