Meet Thor a 20 Month old German Shepherd.
Thor is a very sweet and affectionate boy who loves to play. He is an amazing dog and will fill any house with lots of love and demanding of attention and treats.
Thor loves playing, his favourite games are fetch (sometimes he wants you to fetch a ball from him as he skips around the garden), bubbles and anything water related. He can be left alone and mainly sleeps when no one is home.
Thor is good with other dogs once he settles down, however when he sees another dog gets extremely excited and hard to control. He needs further training in order to help him understand how to settle around other dogs.
On walks he is good but does pull a bit on lead, this is improving however when other dogs around he will pull strongly towards them.
What we have seen whilst in foster.
Thor needs some ongoing training from someone experienced with large dogs and possibly German Shepherds.
He does want to play with other dogs but does not know how to do that properly or read the signs from other dogs. He would be good with a large older playmate that could teach him exactly how to behave.
He is well trained in the usual sit, down etc and really is a beautiful boy who is very intelligent.
