Description
Willow has produced the most gorgeous healthy litter of Working Golden Retriever Puppies.
This is a repeat breeding, as Willow and Rufus produce puppies with such fantastic temperaments and excellent heath test results! Very importantly, the puppies have a very low inbreeding % of just 3.8%. Having a low inbreeding score is vital to their long term health. A high inbreeding score can lead to cancer and other genetic disorders.
We kept one of the puppies from her first litter with Rufus and have just had his hips and elbows scored: Hips 0/0 and elbows 0/0.
We are now looking for loving homes for them, where they can fulfil their potential, either in a working role or as an active family pet. They are working retrievers and will need lots of exercise and mental stimulation.
Ideally, their new families will be at home with them or be able to take them to work. The puppies would love to join a family that already has dogs or cats or is able to socialise with other dogs regularly.
Working Golden Retrievers are not suited to staying home all day by themselves. They thrive with a job to do, whether that is as a gun dog, a therapy dog, or as an active family pet.
These puppies have been brought up in the centre of our home, with all the noises of children, dogs, chickens, ponies and a cat. Also household noise such as hoovers, washing machines and hair dryers.
