Peanut was absolutely adored by his owner and has been very well cared for. He is a confident lad and loves a cuddle. His current favourite activity is biting his log roll toy. He has a very high pitched wheek when he hears the fridge open!
We collected Peanut when he became ill and his heartbroken owner was struggling to afford the veterinary care he needed. We took Peanut to see the vet the evening of his collected and he has an upper respiratory tract infection. He has finished his course of antibiotics and anti-inflammatories and his breathing is all better!
Peanut is currently being looked after by our amazing foster carers, and we are hoping to find a home for him where he can be a 'neighbour' pig to another boar. He has proven exceptionally difficult to bond but does love piggy company!
