We got these three delightful girls back in September 2021. (They have a life expectancy of around 8 years). They will lay beautiful eggs sporadically, which is typical for silkies. We use these eggs for special treats! The girls are very gentle and independent. They are enchanting garden pets.
Recently our male dog has started to chase them around and our garden does not allow for separation. We thought he would stop doing that but as time goes on we feel it is unfair for the girls to be pestered this way. We are sure that someone out there could offer them a great life and enjoy them clucking about in their garden.
They are great little hens for beginners. If you are interested in the omlet eglu coop and run, we a would sell for an extra £150.
