I will provide a carrier filled with some of her bedding to help her adjust and so she has a comfortable ride home. I can also provide a water bottle for free and a weeks worth of her nuggets.
This is Lil' Lady. She is extremely friendly and loves to be carried around and wonder about the floor to explore. She runs up to the door of her cage to greet you and enjoys home made forage toys the most. She does respond to her name unless she's really distracted.
Unfortunately I can no longer afford to keep her due to rise in living costs.
Please only apply if you have a good understanding of up to date Hamster care or are willing to do the research.
She is not reccomended as a child's pet so please do not apply if a child is intended to be her primary care giver. I can make exceptions depending on the child's age and experience with animals but ultimately an adult should be her care giver or available to step in if necessary.
This is mainly because of her age and her occasional tendency to nip when agitated, this is not an agressive bite that breaks skin or draws blood but may frighten a child if they do not understand that it is a gentle warning that she needs some space.
Cage and Accessories:
I can provide the cage and ALL of the accessories seen in the photo of her cage for an extra £275 or best offer, or let me know what accessories you do want and we can agree on a price.
The cage is a Savic 100 (£120 when I bought it). I still have the original bars however I purchased custom screens (they were about £175, hence the price above) to prevent her chewing the bars and to allow for deeper Bedding and she seems much happier with them. The screens have holes at the top for cable ties to tie securely to the top as the top part of the savic was always a little bit loose.
Diet:
She currently eats 7g of Burgess brand Hamster nuggets. You can find them at most Pets@Home stores or ASDA if you intend to continue on her current Diet.
Additionally she gets a few defrosted vegetables most days and different sprays when I can get them. I'm happy to provide a weeks worth of her food for you (nuggets only).
Health:
She hasn't had any health issues since I've had her however at her last check up the Vet did say she had signs of Cushins but has not developed it. As advised, she has lost some excess weight since and it does not seem to have developed but you may want to keep it in mind incase she starts to show signs.
Her weight is currently at 160g.
