If you are hoping to adopt a cat who deserves a loving home and needs a little bit more love and patience than most cats, then maybe Speckle is perfect for you.
Speckle was a stray cat who took to our garden, she had a litter of kittens in our shed and we decided to foster her and help her find her forever home. She has been living with us now for eight months.
She has become very accustomed to living with all the sights and sounds in the house. She is litter trained, and likes to play with toys, especially toy mice. She still likes to go outside, but enjoys spending a lot of time inside.
She was checked by a vet last year - who estimated that she was about two years of age. She is in good health, microchipped, spayed and has her vaccinations, flea and worm treatment up to date.
While Speckle is in good physical health, she is quite anxious. We don't know what happened to her before she came to us, but she can be very shy and gets stressed quite easily.
We have already seen Speckle gain so much confidence in the short time she's been with us. Hopefully she will continue to build her confidence, but we think it would be best if she is in a quiet, peaceful home without other pets and without young children who may not understand her sensitivities.
We are really keen for Speckle to go into a loving home where she can settle down and have a wonderful life.
