DescriptionDarling little Betty is a quiet, easy, adorable, 5 kilo, short haired chihuahua, who has just turned 13.
I am looking for a permanent fosterer or adopter to give her the good life she has always deserved but sadly never received. Ideally a quiet home (with or without other nice natured, gentle dogs) where someone is around a good deal of the time.
She currently lives with over 20 dogs and is happy and as good as gold but deserves to have someone's attention rather than have to share mine with so many others. (She has to get in the queue here, even for a cuddle!)
She is a happy, active little sweetie who loves people, is great with other dogs, loves her daily walks, plenty of time in the garden, her food and plenty of cuddles.
Betty has been passed around and bred from. She came into rescue recently when her last owner no longer wanted her. She lived in a filthy flat without the ability to go out, so both dogs had to toilet indoors.
She is now toilet trained, vet checked and had several nail trims to gradually shorten her overgrown nails.
She has acute kidney damage due to poisoning two years ago, so is fed on Royal Canin tinned renal food. Kept on this diet, my vet does not consider her condition an issue and suggests she could easily live happily for several years. He doesn't however recommend spaying her due to putting her kidneys under the unnecessary strain of an anaesthetic. Likewise further vaccinations.
My rescue is happy to sponsor Betty's food for the rest of her life.
Should you be interested in this dear little cutie, please send me your email address and I will send you my enquiry form to complete.
The donation fee will include her harness, bed, blanket and a supply of food.
