Sadly, this beautiful girl has been returned to us again and needs a calm home with experienced owners.
Maddy is a fantastic girl. Super smart, motivated and enthusiastic to learn and loves training!! She is very motivated by food so teaching her tricks is a great way to bond 🥰 she has fantastic potential in the right home.
She is crate trained, housetrained and travels well in the car.
Maddy is a loving girl towards her people. She does do better with 1:1 attention but can also find her own fun and often takes to her bed with a toy or chew. She loves to play and also enjoys mental enrichment with lickimats/kongs, sniffing and puzzle games! She’s a smart cookie!
Maddy does get on with other dogs but in our experience can be a bit boisterous and would do best living as an only dog with the opportunity for doggo friends.
Maddy is strong on the lead and needs an owner that can work on this with her. She can be reactive to other dogs on lead as well as new people to the house. Things like chews and lickimats are good distractions but she does need a home with very few visitors and people who can handle her strength on the lead.
She would thrive in a less complicated one or two person, adult only household, in a secure garden, and with adopters with experience with anxious rescue dogs. She has so much potential in the right home and we are hoping she won’t have to wait too long before we can find it for her after she waited over a year last time 😞💔
