Eve is a lovely mare I've owned for about two years. Due to personal health issues, including skin cancer, and changing circumstances, I am seeking a new home for her. She would make a fantastic broodmare and was originally intended for breeding, as she has the potential to produce an outstanding foal.
She has had the winter off and has recently been brought back into work. Eve is a safe and reliable happy hacker. However, she does exhibit some behaviors that potential buyers should be aware of:
• Head Tossing:
• Bitting: she as never bitten but turns to nip. U I'd say its out of her trying to get out of been worked
• Girth Sensitivity:
• Work Ethic:
Due to financial constraints, I haven't been able to have her teeth rechecked or have a saddle fitter assess my tack, which is old and assembled from various pieces.
Despite these quirks, Eve has been a valuable member of our family.
She is currently turned out with my two daughters' horses and gets along well in a herd setting.
Ideal Home:
Eve would be best suited for someone who can provide her with regular work and has the resources to address her behavioral quirks. She has the potential to be a wonderful broodmare or a safe hacking companion for an experienced rider.
