Description
A Loving Home Needed for This Handsome Boy... This sweet boy who we have named SPOT, has had a rough start to life. Abandoned by his previous owners, he resorted to visiting other homes for food, only to be left to fend for himself when they decided to get another cat. Despite efforts to reconnect him with his old family, they have made it clear they don’t want him back. He’s incredibly chill, loves human attention and interaction, but is also quite independent - a trait he likely picked up during his time on the streets. He’s used to having outdoor access, but he loves the indoor comforts of a warm home and companionship. So he would thrive in a safe and secure home where he can enjoy both indoor and outdoor spaces - safely or a large indoor-only home with lots of stimulation. However, if given outdoor access, it’s important he stays indoors for a minimum of 8 weeks initially, to help him settle and prevent him from wandering or straying. He adores people of all ages and would make a wonderful feline companion. While he seems to get along with female cats, he tends to chase males. Spot isn't aggressive at all and we think this behaviour is due to having to claim territory for himself for so long on the streets. So it’s best Spot finds a home where he can be the only cat. He hasn’t been tested with dogs. What Spot truly needs is a loving family who will provide him with the care and attention he deserves. He’s looking for a warm, safe home where he can curl up, snooze, and feel secure - something he hasn’t had in far too long. If you can give this gorgeous boy a forever home filled with love, safety, and cozy beds, please reach out. Let’s give him the second chance he so desperately needs. Spot is: ✅ 7 years old ✅ Full vaccinated ✅ Dewormed ✅ Microchipped ✅ Neutered ✅ Blood tested (FIV- / FeLV-) ✅ Vet health checked If you can give Spot the forever home he needs, we'd love to hear from you. Please drop us a message and we will send you a pre-adoption form to fill out. If you have any questions, our small volunteer team are on hand and will get back to you asap. Please note that a home check applies. ECM is a CCEW registered charity #1200865.
