Hi thank you for looking at our advert, we are a Local Authority Ethical Licensed Breeder and as such have been inspected and met the rigorous requirements under the new Animal Welfare Act. We believe in the highest standards of comfort and care for our furry families. We offer lifetime support to the people who own our puppies and believe our commitment to them doesn't end once they take their puppy to its new home. Our puppies have homes all over the UK and even into Europe and we can supply references from many happy families from over the years. Our process starts with a telephone call where we can chat and ask each other questions. If we are both happy to take things forward we will arrange a video call via WhatsApp or Facetime. Here you will be able to see the puppies, their parents and the environment they are living in, and we will both get a better understanding of each other to make sure there is a good fit as this is a commitment for many years to come. After this we will arrange for you to come and visit.
We have available a litter of Silver Labrador puppies, 5 girls and 2 boys. Mum is Woozle and dad is Brinks, both are our pedigree Labradors and available to meet when you view the puppies, and in fact we also own Grandparents to the puppies which can also be viewed. Both parents have come from American stock with the bloodlines including Dreamcoat and Horizon's. The linage of these bloodlines are renowned for having excellent hip and elbow scores (hips 0/0 and elbow 0 are common place) as well as exemplarily health. Mum and Dad are health tested line clear for prcd-PRA, GPRA, CPRA, HC, TRD, MRD, CNM, DM, Cystinuria, EIC, HNPK, SD2, HUU and have 29 Champions (show and field trial) between them in their pedigrees. The breeding Coefficient of the parents is 1.2% which is well below the Kennel Club breed average COI.
A copy of Parents AND Grandparents health test paperwork, pedigrees and hip and elbow scores are available for inspection at puppy viewing and copies of these are included in your puppy pack upon collection.
This litter will be endorsed for breeding and export pedigree with the Kennel Club and will only be sold as pets so NO BREEDERS.
Both parents have fantastic temperaments, mum is extremely calm and is very friendly towards everyone she likes to dance and smiles when she does (yes you did read that correctly). Dad loves to run and run across the fields on his daily walks and is very interested in meeting new people, his little character is playful and always loves to engage with you.
The puppies will be wormed from 3 weeks and flea treated if necessary. Puppies will be micro chipped and available for collection from 10 weeks of age (5th May) after being vet checked twice and fully vaccinated with both first and second injections and kennel cough.
All our dogs are fed a raw diet, the pups will be started on Cotswold Raw Puppy when old enough.
Our 10 week socialisation plan is designed to expose our puppies to 91 environmental and situational stimuli not just once but multiple times over their time with us. Starting from the day they are born we cover everything from being picked up and touched through to loud noises and encompassing other animals (from dogs to cattle) and all manner of people from old to very young. This is all to build a confident and resilient puppy that when arriving at their new home is not jumping at every new noise but settling in, exploring and becoming part of your family. Crate training, toilet training and learning in general are easier due to the start they have been given. You will get a full puppy socialisation plan to show how we have been integrating your puppy into their new world and home.
Our broad knowledge in many areas is also there to support you throughout the lifetime of your dog, be that for training, nutrition, grooming or general healthcare. Our website is www.blackfordashdogs.co.uk and you can find some more info about us.
Your puppy will come with their own pedigree and Kennel Club paperwork along with their vaccination record and the veterinary health report and a copy of "Raising Your Puppy" information and advice booklet will be supplied. We would normally supply each puppy with their favourite teddy smelling of their brothers and sisters and a blanket. Each puppy will have 4 weeks free puppy insurance cover upon leaving.
A £250 non refundable deposit will secure your puppy. We prefer people to have their pick from the litter when the pups are at least 6 weeks old (7th April) when their personalities' have started to develop ensuring your pup is better matched to you and your lifestyle.
