Hades is a gorgeous, goofy gentlemen.
He is the most loveable character - a lover of belly rubs, footballs, fluffy bird toys, whipped cream and a runny yolk egg. He would consider himself a lap dog even at his size!
In the house he’s such a calm, docile gentle giant. He’s a seeker of cosy spots and would be quite content spending his days sunbathing.
On a patch of grass he is back to being a puppy and becomes an absolute looney toon, especially loving a water fight!
He has grown up alongside our three children since they were babies and has been nothing but wonderful with them.
His favourite spot during dinner time is directly under our daughter’s highchair who not so sneakily feeds him everything he wants. He has never shown any aggression around food.
As well as our children he has grown up alongside our cat who again, he has never shown aggression towards - even when the cat himself has not been particularly friendly.
Unfortunately he is not particularly dog friendly and would require a firm individual during walks and would be best suited to a house with no other dogs.
Hades can also be nervous around unknown men and needs reassurance and patience during those introductions both inside and outside.
Once he trusts you, prepare to be bombarded with love!
He is not neutered as he has never given us any reason to have it done.
He has been insured for all the time we’ve had him and part of our local vet health club which he has received annual health checks and vaccinations all of which have been fine.
He is due this again at the end of the month.
The need to rehome is through no fault of his own and the decision has not come lightly.
Please no time wasters.
We are looking for the best possible forever home for him.
If you’re looking for a guard dog, Hades is not your guy.
If you’re looking for a snuggly gentle giant to cosy up to with a cup of whipped cream, he’s your man.
