Luna is a lovely girl of about 8/9 months old, and is thought to be a Collie cross. She's a petite medium girl (about 12kgs) at present, with a small amount of growing left to do. She is currently living with 3 other dogs and 2 teenagers. In the past, she has lived with cats with no issues, and so may be able to again.
This beautiful girl has been living in her foster home for over a week now, and still prefers to find her own place to hide away during the day. However she will enjoy a cuddle on the sofa in the evening. Her new guardians would need to be patient with her as she is still adjusting to a new life away from the home she knew and her siblings.
Luna is definitely beginning to come out of her shell, and is showing that she might have a cheeky streak too! She loves the garden, but doesn't understand that flowerbeds need respecting yet. She is becoming more confident on walks. It's all part of the learning process for an adolescent dog.
Luna is crate trained.
In foster, we are seeing a dog who needs support when encountering new things (smells, sights and sounds). Therefore we think that it would be kinder to rehome her with older children only (10 yrs +), and preferably give her a quieter home with another dog where she can develop some confidence.
Luna is one of 6 puppies found abandoned in the woods in Romania. Each of them resemble puppy collie dogs. Her brother, Harry, and sister, Jessie, are also now in the UK and looking for homes.
